Research has shown that it can become dangerously hot in a pram or stroller when it is covered with a (thick) blanket Some brands have hoods which cover most of the baby. They do protect against the sun. However, as these hoods are synthetic and not breathable, they create a very hot environment. And many consumers still have the old habit of covering their baby with a muslin. Allthough muslin cotton seems more breathable than thick blankets, they do not prevent overheating and offer no protection against
